CCD Photography is based out of Carrollton, GA and provides professional photography service to all of Georgia including Douglasville and Metro Atlanta. It is named for Chris and Cortlan Dickerson, we have been married for over 4 years. We both enjoy photography as well as other various activities. We are ready to capture the perfect moment and persevere it for a lifetime. We hope that you will choose us to help preserve your memories and look forward to being there on your special day. Cortlan Dickerson
I'm 29 years old and was born and raised in Winston, GA. I have always been interested in photography and received my first camera when I was 10. I studied photography in school and learned how to process and develop my own photos, which I still do to this day. I have a real passion for landscape and nature photography. When I go out for an adventure it is very peaceful taking on the theme "take only photographs and leave only footprints".
I currently live in Carrollton, GA and enjoy taking my cameras with me where ever I go. I have two digital SLR cameras, a Nikon D300s and a Nikon D80, and one point and shoot camera, a Canon SD780. I think digital photography has provided me with a great edge being able to see what is captured immediately, no guessing whether or not I got the shot. However many photographers will over edit their photos with software, I don't do much more than crop and adjust brightness and contrast. This makes a big difference and I feel it makes the images more true to the moment.
I shot my first wedding when I was still in high school, this began a new love of wedding photography. That was 14 years ago and I still enjoy it. I try to capture something new and different with every wedding. By incorporating in what the bride and groom enjoy, makes it unique to them and doesn't have the same old "look hear" and snap photo routine.
Chris Dickerson
I'm 26 and was born in Binghamton, NY. I lived there until I was about 10 and then moved to Douglasville, GA with my parents. In November of 2008 my wife and I moved to Carrollton, GA where we are still living now in our first home. Carrollton is great it is far enough away from the city to be peaceful yet close enough to still be able to do things. It's wonderful waking up in the morning and only hearing the sounds of nature.
I currently have one Digital SLR, a Nikon D80, and one point and shoot, a Canon SD750. I mostly like to photograph commercial objects including landmarks, bridges and structures. I am a very ordered person and the straight and clean lines just jump and me and say "take a picture". During wedding shoots I mostly tag team and take pictures of the cake, the setup and venue while others are capturing the bride a groom. This insures that everything gets captured.
